Internet Explorer users should note that, because Internet Explorer is not fully CSS2 compliant (despite Microsoft's claims), you will be unable to view this site as it is intended.  I have made every effort to make this site useable by IE but if you should find any problems with it, please email me.

Everyday Yoga

Namasté!

Welcome to Everyday Yoga.  My name is Tyran Ormond and I'm the owner/operator of this site.  I began practicing Yoga in February of 2002.  My first experiences with Yoga came from searching for a way to help my wife strengthen her back and from suggestions that Yoga might help my son with his autism.  I am the only one still practicing and, in that respect, my experience is a failure.  Personally, however, Yoga has been anything but a failure.  It is a motivating factor in my life, has helped me temper my anger and generally improved my sense of well being.

Everyday Yoga is, by no means, the end all and be all of Yoga web sites nor is it intended to be.  Here you can get a glimpse into the mind of a novice yogin, here you can see what helps me in my practice and maybe you can find something which can help you in yours.  You will find how my Yoga blends into the other facets of my life and helps to balance them.

Throughout the site you are likely to see words with broken underlining, like tadasana which is mountain pose.  If you put your mouse over such words, a tool tip will pop-up with the definition.  I found that Mozilla displays the tool tip very quickly whereas Internet Explorer sometimes takes up to 20 seconds to display.  If you have any problems with the site or have Yoga related questions, please feel free to email me.  I may not be able to help but I will try.
