Well I survived a week without Tyran. He had to go out of town for a class in Denver. The older kids were pretty good for me so during the day it was okay but when night time rolled around it was a bit harder. Jillian is still eating around every three hours...usually less than that. And it was hard not to have someone to pass her over too when things got overwhelming. I have family and friends nearby that offered to help but it's it was usually 3 o'clock in the morning when I needed the help and I wouldn' t have called then unless I was seriously on the edge...which, thankfully, I wasn't. I do have a greater respect for those people out there who are single parents. I can't even imagine what I would do if I lost Ty.
I took Jillian in for a WIC appointment on Friday and she now weighs 12 pounds 12 ounces...that is the 98 percentile for her weight...she does like to eat. She is in the 54th percentile for her height and 94th for height for weight. I was worried that she wouldn't fit into her blessing dress. We got a three month size and the lady said that it went up to 12 pounds so I was a bit concerned when they told me how much she weighed. But she fit into it perfectly. In fact if I want any professional pictures taken I will probably need to go this week.
So Jillian had her blessing day yesterday. It was very nice. Tyran gave her a wonderful blessing and we had many family and friends there to support us a congratulate us on her birth and blessing. We had a nice dinner afterward but unfortunately I didn't get all the pictures that I wanted. *sigh* Oh well. Anyway I thought I would share a few pictures of Jillian on her special day.
