Well things here are slowly getting back to normal. Ty has had some health problems that are starting to get better. I am very glad that he is felling better. Although it is kind of nice when he takes the pain killers. Why? Because he is extremely nice. He tells me he loves me over and over and how much he appreciates me for helping him and taking care of him. It actually makes me laugh. I warned him that I may just keep a few of the Lortab around and crush them up and put them in his dinner when he starts acting cranky. LOL!
Spring is trying to arrive here in Utah. The tulips are pushing up through the hard ground. We have a robin that, I think has a nest in our tree out front and it is not afraid of people. Yesterday the temperature was in the 50's and it was SO nice. But typical of Utah weather today it was raining and slushing and pretty much miserable. I know we need the snow but I really would like Spring to get here already. This transition into the days getting longer has, for some strange reason, been a surprise this year. For some reason I forgot what it was like to wake up and not have it be completely dark outside for hours on end before the sun came up. It was almost like I was preparing myself for the chance that the Winter hours of light were going to be with us year round....yuck! So the mornings are much nicer and I am looking forward with much anticipation to Spring and Summer.
I have started going to help with Jona in the classroom twice a week for an hour. It has been helpful and eye opening to see Jona in the classroom setting. He does much better when I am there to help keep him focused and on track. His meeting with the Dr. is on Tuesday. I am really hoping and praying that we will get some answers and that those answers will help Jona get a 504 aide to help him in school.
