Give me a minute to dust things off around here...
Okay, phew, it's been a while since I've been here. Mostly because I haven't really been up to sitting down at the computer for any amount of time without my back giving me twinges. The last couple of weeks I have really been feeling better especially when it comes to sitting.
I want to let you know right now that this site may not be around for too much longer. Our web space provider is no longer providing free web space and I am not sure if we will have the funds to pay for this so I may be moving shortly. I am also thinking about taking a different approach and talking about my scrapbooking hobby as well as blogging. I have been working hard on trying to get the kids' books caught up. I am almost there with Jona's book but the other two I am way behind on.
Not too much going on around here. Potty training George and trying to keep up with the house work, that's about it but I am still enjoying life. Hey the Olympics are coming to Utah that's pretty cool...if it doesn't add a 4 hours each way to my dh's commute. He works in an area that is close to the most used venue site, the E Center, where there will be events every day of the Olympics from 8 in the morning until 12 midnight. I have to say that it is kind of strange to watch the tv and see people like Rosie O'Donnell talking about the Olympics in Salt Lake City. I mean the whole world will be watching. It should be interesting. No I am not going to any events. The best seat in the house will be just that, in my house. I don't see the logic in standing out in the cold for hours on end to see a blur go by on on bobsled track or watch a little speck skating on the ice when I can watch it up close and personal in my own living room. One event that would be fun to go to would be the ski jumping and the areobatic ski jumping...but I will be watching that from my living room as well. I may try to go up down town Salt Lake and see if I can spot any celebrities....people watching is always fun, even if the people aren't famous.
Well that's about it for now. Hopefully I will be able to stay here but if not look for me elsewhere...I will try to keep the same name of the blog. I may even go back to blogspot but I doubt it. Take care!
