Things are better this morning. I know that I am bit sensitive right now because of hormones. I need to get in gear today. We are going to be making gingerbread houses with Ty's brothers and their wives tomorrow. The kitchen needs to be cleaned and the laundry needs to be done, two of my least favorite things to do. Oh well...if I don't do it who will?
Something that I discovered tonight. When someone makes you feel that the game they are playing is more important than listening to what you have to say it hurts like hell. Doesn't matter if the slight was unintentional...it still hurts....maybe more than if the person intended to make you feel bad.
Oh and if you say that you are going to make some changes...it really helps if you back up your words with actions.
We went to the church Christmas party on Saturday and true to her word McKenna was not afraid of Santa. She got right up on his lap and told him that she wanted a baby doll for Christmas. Luckily this is something that Santa has already prepared for. Jona on the other hand wants a Rescue Hero's figure so it looks like Santa will be back in the workshop getting that straightened out. George LOVED Santa. He always has but it was so fun to watch his face light up when he saw the big guy in the red suit show up at the party and the "Santa!" that came out of his mouth was so full of excitement and love it was priceless.
My back is still doing well. I was able to sing with the choir last night, which I was very grateful for. It was so nice. There is a lady in our choir who is due with her first baby next month and she showed up even though she was having contractions. I just wanted to shake her and send her home. Don't put your baby's health at risk just because you want some attention or because you really want to be involved. Anyhoo... I woke up this morning not feeling that great and I still don't feel really well. I think it's mostly to do with the fact that I just finished up the last of my little blue pills for the month and I am starting on the green ones.
