Hey all I'm back! It's been two weeks and three days since my back surgery and I am feeling amazingly well today. My back is giving me the signal that things are definitely on the mend. It hasn't been fun but it also hasn't been as bad as I was dreading either. I was feeling up enough to go with Tyran to his work party on Tuesday. It was held at The Lion House. It was a very nice night and Ty got his certificate of recognition for five years of service. I am so proud of him. He is such a good provider for our family and he loves what he does, for that I am eternally grateful. We ate dinner, which was scrumptious and then after Ty got his certificate we left because my back was telling me that it had had enough excitement for one day. We should have stayed because the Jazz game got out at the same time we were leaving so we ended up waiting on a Trax train. It was my first really big outing since the operation and the first time that I sat for an extended period of time. Wednesday I was sore and Thursday too but I have kept moving and that, I think has helped, because today I am feeling great.
The kids are doing well with all of this. We have had some struggles with Jona at school but I think we have that straightened out. McKenna and George have been trying my patience to no end the last couple of days with their bickering but it's hard when you are cooped up inside the house 24 hours a day seven days a week. Tomorrow is our church Christmas party and Santa Claus is making an appearance. McKenna has been terrified of him up to now but she assures me that this year will be different. We shall see. George has been fine with the Jolly Old Elf but I wonder if that will change this year. I will let you know. Sunday the church choir is performing in a musical presentation and I am a member and hope that I will be up to it. I love to sing. Especially this time of year.
Well that is all that I have to say right now. I'm glad to be feeling better and back on the net. I have missed it.
