- Example:
Folding Fan (TL3): These lightweight wooden fans are used by
high-society women (and rarely men) not only as a fashion statement,
but also for self-defense. The fans normally have beautiful artwork
painted, stitched, or embroidered across the cloth or paper covering
when the fan is open. When closed, it folds down upon itself into a
strong wooden cylinder which can then be used as the equivalent of a
baton, using the Shortsword skill. $30 or more (the quality of the
artwork raising the price), 1 lbs., min ST 6.

Sword of Misenus: This sword is believed to currently be in the
possession of the OAKs Grand Master. It is a very fine broadsword
thought to have belonged to Misenus, one of the first Aenean Empire
Emperors. It qualifies as a "Named Weapon" (F132) and automatically
attunes itself to a new owner after a month of carrying it. Once
attuned, it provides the benefits of a "Weapon Bond" perk (F132) upon
the owner. The swords story and abilities are lost in the shrouds of
history.
