Fasdal is a burgeoning city on the southern coast of Pollexia, whose port on the Treal Straights has always been its mainstay. Since the early 9th century AE Fasdal has experienced exponential growth, primarily due to trade with Aeneus and over sea cities and kingdoms.

Overlooking the city is Castle Fasdal on a high hill. The city walls and towers in their present state are fairly recent (c.940 AE), and a ditch is currently being dug on the northwest side of the castle with the intention of using Gullet Lake's waters to create a moat surrounding the castle.

At the outskirts of the city walls the Order of Aenean Knights opened a chapter house in 983 AE (although the manor house & training grounds were still under construction for years). The OAKs have striven successfully since their establishment to gain the trust & respect of the people and the support of the local nobility. The under marshal in charge therein is Hyrkan.
